Caol Ila was founded to the North of Islay in 1846 by Hector Henderson. Subtle dried fruits, some dark oak, earthy peat, grassy malt, sea spray, barbequed plums, vanilla, grilled tropical fruits, chilli spice, pepper, wood smoke and sweet figs.
